Seasonality

Rollover the communities in your Network to start fresh for your new season!

Overview

Seasonality is a Network Admin feature providing Network Administrators the ability to copy or move communities into Seasons. Communities that are placed into a Season have the following qualities:

They’re removed from the Network, but are visible via a ‘Season Category’
Members of ‘Season Communities’ do not see these within their ‘My Communities’ view
Network Administrators can set access permissions for Season’s
Communities that are copied into Seasons are linked, therefore, linked Season versions of Community can be accessed from within the Community.
Users can access ‘Season Communities’ via a Season section of a Network.
Reporting (at Network Admin) can be toggled between different Seasons
‘Live’, is the Live section of a Network, I.e. Communities that are currently in use and are not in a Season.

Only Network Administrators can move Communities in/out of Seasons. Under ‘Community Settings’, they will see a new menu item named ‘Move Seasons’. Clicking on it will display a popup allowing the Administrator to either move or copy the Community.

Move

By selecting ‘Move’, the Administrator will be placing the Community within a Season, removing it from the Network, but making it viewable within a ‘Season Category’.

Copy

By selecting ‘Copy’, the Administrator will be provided with further options to select which content they’d like to ‘copy’ over to the new ‘Live Community’, therefore being retained, this will include:

Members
Teams
Team Administrators
Captain’s & Team Support
Team Members
Venues

Automatically migrated to the new ‘Live Community’:

Smart Groups (those created in both Network Admin and within the Child Community)
Team Categories (those created in both Network Admin and within the Child Community)
Team Types (excluding those created via Competition flow)
Community Settings
Network & Community Administrators
