Where do I get published and promoted?

Playwaze promotes through a network of finders embedded on sports and activity organisation websites and marketed to a wide and diverse audience of people. Includes the finder on Playwaze, searched by tens of thousands of people every week.

What can I publish and promote?

Your community. As a provider you’ll have your own community on Playwaze. This is your space and represents your club or activity group.

Your activities. Sessions, classes, and camps that you add to your community.

How do I publish and promote?

Promote my community

All you need to do is create a community. You can do this through the Organise page on playwaze.com or you may have received an invitation link from an organisation hosting a finder. Just click the link they share to create your community.

It’s quick and easy to create a community – just one simple form where you’ll provide some basic information. To edit the information or add more detail just go to Community Settings > Edit.

Your community will be published and promoted immediately.

You may also receive an invitation from an organisation hosting a finder to take ownership of a community. This is where the organisation has listed the publicly available information about your club or group on its finder. If you accept the invitation you’ll automatically become the sole administrator of that community. You can then edit and maintain the information about your community, and add activities if you’d like to promote those too.

Promote my activities

Simply create activities in your community to automatically publish them on the Playwaze network of finders. You can create activities as “list only” and redirect bookings to your own booking system, or you can create as “standard” to take bookings and payments in one seamless user flow.

You’ll also have an option on each activity schedule to promote to OpenActive. If you choose this option your activity will be promoted even further afield to any activity finder in the OpenActive network.

What if my activities are only available to my members?

If you want to publish activities but only want your members to book you can do this by either:

Making your community private and setting a pin code entry or an approval requirement. Unless the person has the pin or is approved by you they won’t be able to make a booking.

Using Playwaze memberships and setting your activities to only be available for booking by people with a valid membership. You can also set tiered pricing with memberships e.g. free for members, £10 for non-members.
